BGP provides integrated borehole seismic services, including zero-offset VSP, offset VSP, walk-away VSP, 3D-VSP, cross-well seismic, fracture monitoring, and reservoir geophysics.
Employed in the borehole seismic services are digital instruments, 24-bit digital borehole receivers, analog receivers, well-logging cable trucks and skids, air-gun boats, small-sized air-guns, P-wave vibrators, and P&S-wave vibrators. The acquisition, processing, and interpretation are performed by packages, such as GeoEast, VECON, Univers, ProMAX, Landmark, and VISUS.
BGP administers six VSP crews and an R&D institute for borehole seismic surveys. We have completed more than 2000 wells of VSP in a wide variety of complicated geological and geographical environments. In addition to providing services to domestic oilfields, BGP has also conducted many projects for companies in Pakistan, Kazakstan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Bengal. |
