BGP's Technical Seminar is a regular event held every two years. The topics of the seminar cover a wide range of subjects including seismic and non-seismic data acquisition, processing and interpretation. It provides a good opportunity for participants to communicate with each other for the purpose of sharing information on E&P development and geophysical technology. It serves as a communication platform for BGP and its clients and partners to further enhance future cooperation and development.

The seminar held in 2008 was an unprecedented size with over 100 delegates from international and national oil companies. There were a total of 19 papers, with 12 presented by BGP, 7 by national and international oil companies.

BGP continues to develop and promote the latest technologies to provide better service for the oil and gas industry.
