Crew 8615B shifts the seismic line to protect a bird's nest

Survey team of Crew 8615B in Saudi Arabia found a falcon nest between a source line and a receiver line at the end of seismic line 678 while their work was finishing along the line. There was a just hatched bird and an egg. The falcons would be disturbed if the seismic work were carried out near the nest. Although their one week's work would be wasted if the location of seismic line was changed, the crew reported the situation right away to client SRAK company. After serious consideration, SRAK decided to move the seismic line 500 meters away from the nest, and surveyors started their work at new location. The crew also took extra care to the nest during the operation.
