Job Responsibilities
•Independently conduct full-process seismic data processing for 2D/3D land and marine seismic data in compliance with Saudi Aramco’s technical specifications, quality standards and project workflows.
•Perform key processing procedures including data preprocessing, noise attenuation, velocity analysis, static correction, migration processing, residual statics correction and post-stack/pre-stack optimization to ensure high-quality seismic imaging results.
•Collaborate closely with Saudi Aramco’s technical team, project supervisors and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, solve on-site technical problems, and adjust processing schemes timely according to project progress and technical feedback.
•Conduct strict quality control (QC) for all seismic processing data and results, summarize processing parameters and technical details, and compile standardized technical reports, progress reports and final delivery documents as required by Aramco.
•Track and implement Saudi Aramco’s updated geophysical processing standards and industry advanced technologies, optimize existing processing workflows, and improve processing efficiency and data accuracy.
Job Requirements
1. Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree or above in Geophysics, Exploration Geophysics, Petroleum Geology or other related geoscience majors. Master’s degree is highly preferred.
2. Work Experience
Minimum 3+ years of professional seismic data processing experience in the oil and gas industry. Candidates with on-site working experience in Saudi Aramco or Middle East oilfield projects are prioritized.
3. Language & Comprehensive Competencies
•Good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, able to communicate smoothly with Aramco foreign team and independently complete English technical reports and document delivery.
•Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities, able to adapt to overseas long-term on-site project work mode.
•Strict work attitude, strong sense of responsibility and team spirit, able to strictly follow project safety and management specifications.
•Familiar with international oilfield project management norms, able to efficiently complete project tasks and meet quality and progress requirements.
