From June 23 to August 23, three students from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia, successfully completed a two-month summer internship program in China.

Since 2020, BGP and Saudi Aramco, in collaboration with KFUPM, have organized four editions of the summer internship program. Previous sessions were held at BGP Saudi Arabia Project. This year, for the first time, the program took place outside Saudi Arabia, hosted and supported by BGP in China.
During the internship, the students participated in specialized training and practices across various fields, including survey design, 3D seismic exploration design, applications of KLseis and GeoEast software, high-efficiency and low-frequency acquisition techniques, land nodal acquisition techniques, and multi-component seismic exploration. They also visited the BGP Geophysical Exhibition Hall, the Geophysical R&D Center, and Baoding Beiao Special Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd., gaining an in-depth understanding of geophysical exploration operations.
