On October 16th, BGP Technical Seminar 2025 launched in Kunming, bringing together over 160 experts, scholars and representatives from 27 countries, including oil companies, government entities and industry organizations. Leaders from CNPC, SEG, EAGE and other institutions delivered remarks, while BGP’s management presided over the opening ceremony and presented keynote reports.

Centered on “Innovation, Green and Win-Win”, the two-day event included 23 technical reports covering key areas such as land high-density acquisition, ultra-deep seismic exploration and integrated OBN seismic solutions & AI technology. Panelist discussion focusing on seismic acquisition and imaging technologies were held in parallel, alongside an exhibition zone showcasing self-developed advanced equipment like the AHV-V 480 TITAN vibrator and BGP INNOVATOR geophysical vessel.

During the initiative signing ceremony, the “Global Geophysical Green Exploration Initiative” was released and signed by CNPC, BGP and 12 international oil companies and industry institutions to promote environmental standards and share green technologies. BGP also unveiled its new brand logo.
Participants exchanged in-depth views on cooperation in conventional and unconventional oil & gas exploration, new energy, CCUS and digitalization. The seminar served as a key platform for technical exchange and collaborative dialogue, facilitating global energy transition.
