From January 8th to 9th, 2026, a seminar on new technologies for KLSeis software was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, which also featured the launch of the latest version, KLSeis 2026.

This seminar focused on the new challenges currently faced by seismic exploration in both hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon sectors. Centered on the development direction of seismic exploration technology and the pathway for independent software R&D in the era of artificial intelligence, the attendees conducted deep discussions from both technical and industrial perspectives. A total of 15 thematic reports were presented, systematically exploring the technological development trends of seismic acquisition software. The new software version KLSeis 2026 and a typical dual-complexity model from western China were officially released.

KLSeis 2026 features core capabilities of "Intelligent, Precise, and Efficient," constructing an integrated solution covering the entire chain of land and marine seismic acquisition. It promotes the intelligent transformation of seismic acquisition engineering from "passive adaptation" to "active empowerment," contributing new technical strength to global oil and gas exploration and development.
