On March 9th, 2024, BGP Oman crew 8622 achieved a remarkable HSE milestone, completing 19 years LTI (Lost Time Injury) free operations and also on October 10th, 2023 reached 36 million man-hours without LTI, working for PDO seismic operations with more than 71 million kilometers driven by the crew during this period.

This achievement once again refreshed the industry record for the safe production in Oman and was highly commended by PDO. A serious of outstanding performances were achieved, including the safe delivery of the projects ahead of time, with different extreme challenging areas while operating in full 24 hours mode. Adding to that, continuously sustaining zero private employee vehicles on crew by providing company transport for +10 months.

The crew has been working in many challenging working environments, such as sand dunes, cliffs, undulation areas and villages. The safety management is one of the most important aspects of project operations. The crew has established a harmonious local relationship through numerous visits and meticulous communication with the authorities and residents. At the same time, the crew has sustained its excellent HSE performance in these difficult field conditions by its effective HSEMS implementation on a daily basis.

Every new record is a new starting point. This achievement is a great honor for BGP Oman crew 8622 and it is the result of visible HSE Leadership from both PDO and BGP. BGP will continue to adhere to its HSEMS and make the further developments to improve its management performance by increasing quality and efficiency by streamlining its activities.
