BGP Marine is pleased to announce that the company has signed a contract with TIMOR GAP (Timor-Leste National Oil Company) for a 3D survey offshore Timor-Leste. BGP Prospector will be surveying a 2,780 square kilometers area. This is the first time for BGP to enter Timor-Leste exclusive area.

To ensure the safety and high efficiency of the project, Mr. Alfredo Pires, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Timor-Leste, accompanying by top management of TIMOR GAP, E.P. and ANP, visited and inspected BGP Prospector on 23rd December.BGP prospector’s captain and party chief briefed them with the conditions and operations of the seismic vessel. Finally, BGP Marine and TGSS signed the contract and BGP Prospector started the acquisition of the survey. This significant project is BGP’s first survey in the Timor-Leste market.
