Highlights
In view of the “thin and scattered” characteristics of the East Africa market, BGP adopted the management mode of “small team and regional operation”, adhered to the asset light strategy, fully implemented the measures to reduce costs and increase efficiency, ensuring the overall efficiency of the projects; The only Seismic Data Processing center in the East African region was established in Nairobi in 2014. The integrated service capability of geophysical exploration was formed in East Africa, realizing the successful promotion and application of BGP’s GeoEast software.
Adhering to the strategic goal of “zero injury, zero pollution and zero accident”, BGP sticks to the security management concept of “not sacrificing the lives of employees for the profit of the company” and pays close attention to the management of “Top 5 risks”, and HSSE management performance continues to improve.
In 2011, seismic acquisition across the world’s largest refugee camp (Dadaab) was successfully completed.
