BGP started its journey in Mexico in 2002, and have provided seismic acquisition services for PEMEX in the states of Tabasco, Veracruz and Tamaulipas, safely and successfully. American Geophysical SA de CV is the business entity of BGP in Mexico.

With the data acquired by BGP in “Canela 3D”, PEMEX had drilled and produced petroleum successfully in the area.

The project “Areas Pontenciales II” was conducted between 2003 and 2005, and BGP finished the project one year ahead of schedule which helped PEMEX save significant time for exploration.
