Highlights

BGP entered into Thailand in 2009 and started with 2D seismic acquisition for Carnarvon Petroleum on Block L20/50 and then continued with Shaanxi Yanchang 2D onshore Block L31/50 in late 2010.

Totally 3 2D and 5 3D seismic acquisition projects were completed in Tahiland.

In addition, BGP had conducted a 3D seismic acquisition for TPI Refinery with an additional 3 non seismic techniques: Time Frequency Electromagnetic Survey (TFEM), Gravity Survey and Magnetic Survey combined together within this project. However, this was the first time BGP had brought 3 other techniques into Thailand.

BGP has donated money and goods to communities and villagers in Thailand to a value of 276,000 THB in total.
